   Proposal Description:
   The goals of this project is to estimate cost of Alzheimer's disease in the next 20 years in Spain under different situations.                                In order to do so, the study aims to:                                             1. Estimate the number of people with Alzheimer's disease according to disease severity (MMSE) in the next 20 years in Spain by using a Markov model with transition probabilities.                                                         2. Estimate the costs associated with disease severity in Spain until 2040.         The purpose of the use of the NACC data is to calculate transition probabilities between stages according to the MMSE score.
